Candidates, officials to speak at Republican Club picnic

The Northwest Missouri Republican Club is meeting for its annual picnic next weekend.

Local, state and national elected officials and candidates have been invited to speak.

The group will gather starting at 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, at the Korte Farm. Those wishing to attend can call Mike Korte at 816-520-9080 or Frieda Grimm at 816-390-3417 for directions.

The club will provide hamburgers, hot dogs and drinks, and guests are asked to bring a covered dish, vegetable or dessert along with lawn chairs.
