Renewable energy the topic of Democratic Women’s Club gathering

The Buchanan County Democratic Women’s Club will discuss renewable energy at its meeting this month.

The group will gather at noon on Tuesday, May 28, at San Jose Steakhouse, 4015 S. Belt Highway. This month’s speaker will be Emily Weber, Kansas City regional coordinator for Renew Missouri, who will describe the nonprofit’s policies and advocacy work.

The group’s meetings are open to the public and attendees are welcome to come at 11:30 a.m. to order from the menu.
