Happy Birthday Nola Ferguson!
Nola (Heller) Ferguson is turning 90 on Nov. 18, 2025. She was born Nov. 18, 1935, to John and Blondelle (Riche) Heller, in Cosby, Missouri.
Nola attended Eminence Grade School near Cosby. She graduated from Savannah High School in 1953. She afterwards attended Gard’s Business School in St. Joseph. She worked for Thompson-Brumm Knepper Clinic and American Angus before returning to Cosby in 1958 where she and Dean have resided ever since. In 1970, she began working for American Family Insurance until retiring in 1998 after 28 years.
She married Dean Ferguson, Rosendale, Missouri, on Jan. 14, 1954. They celebrated 71 years of marriage this year. To this union they have three children: Keith (Malea) Ferguson, Cosby, Lisa (Doug) Hodge, Foxfield, Colorado, and Brenda (Bob) Wray, Olathe, Kansas. They also have 16 wonderful grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
