Police have a person of interest in connection to a shooting at the North Belt Walmart in St. Joseph Sunday morning.
Investigators with the St. Joseph Police Department have determined that the suspect and the victim, both juveniles, are known to each other and this is an isolated incident. A motive for the shooting has not been determined but a person of interest, who is a juvenile, has been identified and is wanted for questioning.
The investigation remains ongoing and police urge anyone with information regarding the incident to call 816-271-4777 or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers or relevant tip line at 816-238-8477.
