MUSCATINE, Iowa (AP) — MUSCATINE, Iowa (AP) — HNI Corp. (HNI) on Wednesday reported profit of $13.9 million in its first quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Muscatine, Iowa-based company said it had net income of 29 cents. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 44 cents per share.

The maker of office furniture and fireplaces posted revenue of $599.8 million in the period.
