Carter Ostermiller joined News-Press NOW in August 2025 as a Multimedia Journalist. Carter grew up in Red Bank, New Jersey, and attended Penn State University. He graduated in May 2025 with a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Media Studies.

At Penn State, Carter was involved in CommRadio and PSNtv. At CommRadio, he wrote and broadcast a live sports show. At PSNtv, he hosted, recorded and floor-directed live sports shows for the network.

Carter is a fan of history and sports. His favorite sports team is the Minnesota Vikings. In his free time, he enjoys reading and watching television.
