UPDATED EVENT: Saturday, Aug. 02 3rd anniversary of Kansas voters rejecting constitutional change permitting abortion restrictions – 3rd anniversary of Kansans voting in a referendum on a constitutional amendment that would have enabled the state legislature to place restrictions on abortion. Almost 60% of voters rejected the change, leaving abortion rights protected under the state constitution. Kansas was the first state to vote on abortion rights following the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to overturn ‘Roe v. Wade’
