Schenk, Randall L. 1959-2025 St. Joseph, Mo.

Randall Lee Schenk, 65, a lifelong resident of St. Joseph, passed away June 21, 2025, after a very brief struggle with stomach cancer. Randy was born Nov. 11, 1959, and graduated from Central High School.

Randy enjoyed a competitive game of pool as well as riding his bicycle or motorcycle along the St. Joe parkway. In his younger years he enjoyed almost any activity on the water, sailing, sailboarding, skiing and tubing behind a fast boat. On his 65th birthday in November he went sailboarding one last time. He was employed by Blue Side Tannery for 30 years and at Clarios the last 15 years.

Randy was preceded in death by his mother, Frances Elardo Schenk, and his brother, Lloyd.

His memory will live on through his son, Spencer Schenk (Emily Schultz); his daughter, Jessica Schenk; and sister, Valerie Finney.

There will be no formal funeral service. As published in the St. Joseph News-Press.
