Packman II, Robert V. 1955-2025 St. Joseph, Mo.

Robert Verne Packman II, 69, of St. Joseph, passed away June 20, 2025, at Mosaic Life Care, in St. Joseph, after a short battle with esophagus cancer. He was born on Oct. 20, 1955, to Robert Verne and Clarice Louise Packman.
He grew up in Kenosha County, Wisconsin and graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School in 1974. He attended the Milwaukee School of Engineering and then enlisted in the military on Oct. 6, 1976. While serving in the military he was trained as an Intercept Equipment System Repairman. He would later go on to work for a variety of companies as their system repair tech.
Robert married Donna Cook Aug. 14, 1982, but later the couple would divorce. He was a Chicago Cubs and Green Bay Packer fan. Rob enjoyed going to Wrigley Field to watch the Cubs play and he was extremely excited when they won the World Series.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He will deeply be missed by his three children, Angie (Willie) George, Tom (Teresa) Cline, and Melissa (Brian) Dovel; three sisters, Linda Yednock, Fredericksburg, Virginia, Ruth (Glen) Baumgartner, River Falls, Wisconsin, and Christy Wilson, Sturtevent, Wisconsin. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great- grandchildren.
Mr. Packman has been cremated under the care of Rupp Funeral Home.
