Weber, Cole R. 1991-2025 St. Joseph, Mo.

Cole Ruger Weber, 33, of St. Joseph, passed away unexpectedly on June 18, 2025, at Mosaic Life Care. Cole was born to Lisa (Swymeler) Adams and Dave Weber, in St. Joseph, on Nov. 26, 1991.
Cole attended St. Francis Xavier School and Bishop LeBlond High School where he graduated in 2010, before earning both his bachelor’s and master’s degree in Business from Baker University. Cole worked for Pepsi Co for the past 13 years as the territory sales leader.
Cole loved to spend time with his wife, Kara, and best friend and his family. Being an active role model to his children by coaching their basketball team, being active on the baseball fields and basketball courts, as well as attending dance recitals was a bright spot in his life.
Cole enjoyed watching the K.U. Jayhawks, spending time with his family, being in the mountains with his wife, and being on the water. Additionally he was also an advocate for children’s mental health. He will be most remembered by his laugh, bright smile, and always making us laugh.
Cole was preceded in death by his granddad, C. Stephen Swymeler, and uncle, Steve Swymeler.
Survivors include his wife and best friend, Kara (Kloepping) Weber; children, Kale, Mackenzie and Hadley Weber; stepchildren, Kenden and Annalee McGhee; parents, mother, Lisa (Swymeler) Adams, and father, Dave Weber, Wathena, Kansas; grammy, Connie Swymeler; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Cole’s final act of kindness was to give the gift of life through organ/tissue donation.
A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, June 22, at Heaton-Bowman-Smith-Sidenfaden Chapel at 3609 Frederick Blvd., St. Joseph, Mo 64506. A private family service will take place at Mount Olivet Cemetery in St. Joseph.
In lieu of floral arrangements memorial donations may be made to the Samaritan Counseling Center or Saint Francis Xavier. As published in the St. Joseph News-Press.
