Rebecca Evans is a passionate Multimedia Journalist and filmmaker from Saint Joseph, Missouri, recognized for her cinematic storytelling and creative vision. She joined the News-Press NOW team in June 2025 after earning her Bachelor’s degree in Applied Performing and Cinematic Arts from Missouri Western State University, along with minors in Digital Media, Entrepreneurship, and Art History.

While at Missouri Western, Rebecca held multiple leadership roles, including Executive Video Producer for Griffon Media, Administrative Executive Producer for Griffon Production House, and weekly anchor for KGSM-TV. Her dedication to impactful storytelling earned her a spot as a presenter at the 2024 CMA/ACP National Media Convention in New Orleans, where she led a session on crafting compelling narratives for modern audiences.

In addition to her journalistic work, Rebecca is the creative mind behind thought-provoking short films such as Head Case and Dropping In, which can be found on her professional YouTube channel, Evans Cinematics. Her films are known for their emotional depth and psychological insight, taking viewers on immersive journeys into the human mind.

With a strong foundation in visual storytelling and on-air reporting, Rebecca brings a dynamic and creative edge to every story she tells, whether on-screen or behind the camera.
