Adler, Sybil A. 1947-2025 Scottsdale, Ariz.

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – Sybil A. Adler, 77, Scottsdale, Arizona, passed away Thursday, May 29, 2025. She was born July 3, 1947, to Hersh and Estelle Cohen in Hickory, North Carolina. She graduated from Sophie Newcomb College, in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Formerly a resident of St. Joseph for 26 years, where she worked with her family at AJ August Clothing Company. Sybil was a former docent at Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art. She had also worked as an office manager for HRI, Ltd., Phoenix, Arizona.
She had a deep love for animals (dogs, cats and horses particularly) and spent time volunteering at the Golden Retriever rescue in Arizona when time allowed.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Art Campbell.
Survivors include her children, Amy Adler (Nick Adler) and Julie Adler; grandchildren, Emma and Katherine Peterson; brother, Marvin Cohen; several cousins, nieces, nephews and sister-in-law, Sandy Campbell.
