Tracking rain through Tuesday Afternoon

It has been a cool and wet Memorial day across the St. Joseph area. Rain started to fall a little after lunch time today, and is looking to continue through Tuesday afternoon. Areas in Northeastern Kansas might see heavier pockets of rain throughout the evening hours tonight. Flooding concerns look to be minimal as rain totals are expected to stay around ¼ to ½ inch, with some localized higher amounts. Overnight temperatures are looking to trickle into the middle 50s before only a mild warm up to middle 60s Tuesday. Behind Tuesday, precipitation chances look to be drying up as temperatures start to climb. Temperatures are expected to be over 20 degrees warmer by the end of the weekend. While we did not get pleasant weather this holiday weekend, temperatures next weekend look to be in the 80s with sunshine!
