Swinchoski, Angelica L. 1999-2025 Duke, Mo.

DUKE, Mo. – Angelica Leigh Swinchoski, of Duke, Missouri, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2025, at the age of 25. She was born on Aug. 26, 1999, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Timothy J. Swinchoski and Kristin (Buddenhagen) Swinchoski.
Angel was preceded in death by her grandfather, Edwin Swinchoski and Emmett Merklin.
Angel was employed as a para professional at the Discovery School. Working with children was a great joy. She loved reading and caring for her numerous dolls. She enjoyed Christian music, swinging, caring for her cat, Sara and time spent with family.
Angel will be greatly missed by her surviving family which includes her father, Timothy Swinchoski, of St. Joseph; her mother, Kristin Swinchoski and significant other, Harold Rotherham, of Duke; paternal grandmother, Dorothy Swinchoski, of St. Joseph; maternal grandparents, David and Christine Buddenhagen, of Springfield, Nebraska; uncle Michael Swinchoski and wife, Amanda, of Watertown, Massachusetts; uncle Greg Swinchoski and wife, Diana, of Plattsburgh, New York; uncle Mark Swinchoski, of Redwood City, California; aunt Sharon Richey and husband, Glenn, of St. Joseph; uncle Matthew Buddenhagen and wife, Shelly, of Omaha, Nebraska; extended family, Jessica Lane and fiance, Clinton, of Edgar Springs, Missouri, Annastacia Rotherham, of Culbertson, Nebraska; and many other extended family members and friends.
A funeral service for Angelica L. Swinchoski will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at the Christ Episcopal Church, 207 N. 7th St., in St. Joseph. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 27, and prior to the service beginning at 10 a.m. at the church.
A funeral service in Rolla will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at the Null and Son Funeral Home, 1010 Kingshighway, Rolla, Missouri. Interment will follow in the Rolla City Cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will be held prior to the service beginning at 9 a.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Discovery School, 1530 Bridge School Rd, Rolla.
