Jacquelyn “Jackie” Stufflebean, 85, St. Joseph, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2025. She was born Feb. 13, 1940, in Brookfield, Missouri, to Henry and Louise (Grant) Adams. Henry passed away when Jackie was young, and her mother married Gene Amen, who helped raise Jackie.

Jackie married Ray Stufflebean on Dec. 27, 1958. He survives of the home.

She was well-known in St. Joseph for her work as a personal banker at 1st Trust and later at Commerce Bank.

Jackie was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who always put her family and faith first.

She was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather; and sister, Colleen.

Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Ray; children, Tamisha Sommer (Tony), Mark Stufflebean (Susan), and Kimberly Adams; grandchildren, Bill Sommer (Christy), Sara Miller (Cody), Nathan Stufflebean (DaKota), Samuel Stufflebean (ShyKeshia), Mitchell Adams (Robin), and Nicholas Adams (Shelby); great-grandchildren, Nolan, Noah, and Louis Sommer, Craig, Marie, and Burke Miller, Stetson Williams, Estella and Van Stufflebean, Kendrey, Jadicy, and LeighAna, and Breckan, Sutton, Molly, and Quinn Adams; and step-siblings, Genie Amen and Chris Amen.
