Start paving some streets

I would like to know what happened to all the money we sent in for the Street department. I haven't seen any crews out fixing potholes. I have not seen any crews coming down the 1300 block on S 24th St. It's rough, and I think that this street should be paved. It's been this way for almost a year, so let's get some of that money that you've been spending for something else, like swimming pools and other things like that, and let's start paving some streets and potholes.

Answer my question

A concerned citizen would like to know, why is it putting more gravel in the alley and fixing the tubes that’s smashed down the owner’s responsibility? Don't we pay taxes for this to be done? Also, I called about fixing a street in front of our business and we had to go out and fix it because the city is too lazy. They don't call back. They don't do anything. Why are we having to pay for this? I would like to have somebody answer this question.

Can't wait

In the May 6 call ins, there was a caller talking about a spineless congress. He said both parties were spineless. I say the Democrats are doing all they can. They're voting the right way every time. It's the Republicans that are spineless, gutless cowards who would rather keep their jobs than do what's right for the United States. I can't wait till midterms so we can get some of those gutless Republicans out of office.

Full of lies

Trump did not say he does not have to uphold the Constitution. He said, if you listen to somebody besides CNN, he simply said he leaves those questions to the lawyers. He makes a plan. The lawyers decide if it's legal and then they implement the plan. Get away from CNN and MSNBC. They're filling you full of lies.

Just wondering

I wonder if an impeached president could end up in Alcatraz. Just a thought.
