Rachel Addie Richey 47, of St. Joseph, passed away Friday Dec, 20, 2024 in a St. Joseph hospital. She was born Sept. 23, 1977, in St. Joseph, daughter of Ursula McMillian and Stephen Richey.

She graduated from Benton High School and St. Joseph Beauty University. She worked catering industry. Rachel, enjoyed cooking, entertaining, running 5k races, Yoga, library craft nights, and camping, she also loved spending time with her son, Ethan, going to concerts, and she loved her cat, Nacho.

She is survived by father, Stephen (Betty) Richey, St. Joseph; mother, Ursula (Bob) McMillian, St. Joseph; son, Ethan (Jasmine) Richey, Kansas City, Missouri, sisters, Cierra (Edward) McAmoil, Jamie (Scott) Connerly, and Julie (Joe) Wertin; step-brother, Bryan McMillian; and step- sister, Lori McKinney.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. on Monday Dec. 30, 2024, followed by a Celebration of Rachel life starting at 3 p.m. Monday, at the Rupp Funeral Home.
