ATCHISON, Kan. – Irma M. Flores (Erminia), age 94, of Atchison, Kansas, died peacefully on Oct. 19, 2024.

Mass will be on Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2024, at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, Atchison. Visitation will be on Tuesday, at 9:30 a.m. with a rosary at 10:30 a.m. prior to mass at the church. She will be laid to rest at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to St. Benedict Parish or the American Cancer Society.

The Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home has been entrusted with funeral care.

Irma was born on July 7, 1930, in Atchison, the daughter of the late Bardomiano Flores and Maria (Cordero) Flores. She attended St. Joseph Grade School, graduating from Atchison High School.

Irma was the last living child in her family, and is preceded in death by her sisters, Andrea Sanchez, Marie Flores Jimenez, Barbara Lister, Juanita Card; her brothers, Joseph D. Flores, Manuel Flores, Viviano J. Flores and Celestino (Sal) Flores.

She is survived by her many nieces and nephews. As published in the St. Joseph News-Press.
