Starmer, Roberta A. 1951-2026 St. Joseph, Mo.

Roberta Ann Starmer, 74, of St. Joseph, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2026, at a local health care facility. She was born Feb. 3, 1951, in St. Joseph, daughter of Winifred and Jake Wright.

She graduated from Lafayette High School and Missouri Western State College. She married Ronnie Pasley and together they had two children, Jonathan and Shaine, and they later divorced. She later married Randall Starmer and together they had a son, Ralph.

Roberta enjoyed working with her hands. She worked at Pasco Steel and Altec as a welder. She also enjoyed going to the casino, spending time with her sisters and taking trips to Branson.

Roberta was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Marie Elaine Holland and Rebecca Hoskins; brothers, John, Jacob and Patrick Wright.

Survivors include husband, Randall Starmer, of St. Joseph; her children, Jonathan Marshall, Shaine Pasley; sisters, Rosa Lee Threet and Wendy Studer; and brother, Joseph Wright; and four grandchildren.

Mrs. Starmer has been cremated under the care of Rupp Funeral Home.
