Mosaic’s Pat Dillon to be honored at Great Northwest Day
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KQTV) -- One local leader will be the recipient of the third Northwest Missouri Citizen of the Year Award at an event featured during Great Northwest Day at the Missouri State Capitol.
Community leaders from Northwest Missouri are gathering in Jefferson City from Tuesday, Feb. 3, through Wednesday, Feb. 4, to discuss the region's legislative priorities, a 20-year tradition done at the Capitol.
The event includes representatives from 19 counties. The group is introduced to the Senate and House, spends time visiting with legislators and gathers to celebrate all things good in the "Great Northwest" in an evening event open to legislators and their staff members.
Pat Dillon was named the Chief Government and Community Relations Officer at Mosaic Life Care in 2019 after serving as Vice President of Advocacy/Government Relations.
Dillon has served on numerous nonprofit boards, including the St. Joseph Chamber of Commerce & Great Northwest Day committee and past chairman.
Dillon has also been recognized as one of Ingram's "50 People in Missouri You Should Know." He and his wife Nancy, have two adult children and two grandchildren.
"Continuing to advocate for Northwest Missouri is critical for our continued success," said Dillon in a news release. "It is our job to keep our legislators educated on the needs of Northwest Missouri."
The Northwest Missouri Citizen of the Year Award is nominated by peers and selected by the Great Northwest Day Steering Committee.
