Hogan, Charles E. 1953-2026 St. Joseph, Mo.

Charles Edwin Hogan, 72, of St. Joseph, passed away Thursday, Jan. 29, 2026, in St Joseph. He was born March 2, 1953, in St. Joseph.

He graduated from Lafayette High School and worked at Polsky Motors, and Hogan’s Alley in car sales.

He was preceded in death by parents, Violett Hyder and Charles Hogan; daughter, Alisha Hogan; brothers; Robert, Calvin, and twin brother Chester Hogan; sisters, Nancy Leaton and Nina Francis; and stepfather, Willard Hyder.

Survivors include sister, Judy Davis; brother, Michael Hogan; step- brother, Steven Hyder; nephew, Richard Hogan; as well as several other nieces and nephews.

No services are scheduled at this time, cremation under the care of the Rupp Funeral Home.
