Crokett, Robin G. 1963-2026 St. Joseph, Mo.

Robin Gail Crockett, 62, of St. Joseph, passed away Thursday, Jan. 29, 2026. She was born Feb. 3, 1963, in St. Joseph.

She graduated from Benton High School class of 1981, and was a caretaker in the health care industry. She married Ricky on July 13, 1980. She enjoyed fishing and going to car races, and cooking out.

Robin was preceded in death by mother, Crystal Penland; stepson, Eric Crockett; daughter, Latisha Crockett; and sister, Ginger Hovey.

Survivors include husband, Ricky Crockett; father, Mike Hovey; sons, Christopher Hovey, Luke Crockett; stepson, Kevin (Shelly) Butts; brothers, Rusty and Wayland Hovey, and John Penland; sisters, Danyale Kerns and Sandra Hovey; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday at the Rupp Funeral Home. Funeral services and public live stream; 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 2, 2026, at the Rupp Funeral Home. The Interment will be at the Dearborn Cemetery.
