Boyles, Gary D. 1940-2026 Pleasant Hope, Mo.

PLEASANT HOPE, Mo. – Gary Dean Boyles, 85, passed away Sunday, Jan. 18, 2026, in Pleasant Hope, Missouri. He was born April 27, 1940, in Cosby, Missouri, son of Hazel Craddock.

He served in the Army and worked at Cub Foods as a Dairy Manager. Gary loved trout fishing, to hunt, play the lottery and his dog, Scooby. At the end of his life he was baptized Orthodox Christian.

Gary was preceded in death by wife, Beverly, in 1995; one great-grandchild; and sister, Barb Cline.

Survivors include son, Jeff (Angie) Boyles, of St. Joseph; daughter, Kathy Beverly, of Pleasant Hope; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Friday at the Rupp Funeral Home, with a private funeral service later. The Interment and Military Honors will be at the Bethel Cemetery, Cosby.
