Zuchowski, Deborah 1959-2026 St. Joseph, Mo.

Deborah “Sam” Zuchowski, 66, St. Joseph, passed away Monday, Jan. 12, 2026. She was born Dec. 13, 1959, in Wichita, Kansas.

Sam married James “Tony” Zuchowski on April 10, 1995. He survives of the home.

She worked as a waitress and as an inventory worker for RGIS.

Sam’s smile lit up every room she entered. A very outgoing person who never knew a stranger, Sam loved animals of all kinds, especially dogs. She enjoyed crocheting and gardening.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Carol Yager; and brothers, Dennis Dyer and Michael Dyer.

Survivors include her husband of 30-plus years, Tony; siblings, Philip Dyer, Cheryl Bayer-Bullock, and Douglas Dyer.
