Walls, Phyllis J. 1936-2026 St. Joseph, Mo.

Phyllis Jane Walls, 89, of St. Joseph, passed away Thursday, Jan. 8, 2026, at a local health care facility. She was born Oct. 6, 1936, in St. Joseph.

Phyllis devoted her love to children while babysitting and working at Head Start.

Phyllis was preceded in death her parents, Ray and Helen Frame, and several aunts and uncles.

Survivors include several cousins and friend, Karen Lauters.

Graveside Funeral Services and Interment will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 15, 2026, at Ashland Cemetery. Pastor Dave Mejia, officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. on Thursday at Rupp Funeral Home. Memorials are requested to the Noyes Home for Children.
