Man suffers serious injuries after rollover crash early Sunday

A 33-year-old man was seriously injured in a Sunday morning crash off of U.S. Route 36.

Chance Summers, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, was driving a Ford F250 around 4:30 a.m. on U.S. 36 near Hamilton when he traveled off the roadway, overcorrected, returned to the roadway and then traveled off again, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol crash reports. The truck then overturned and came to rest on its top.

Summers was flown to Liberty Hospital for serious injuries. He was wearing a seatbelt at the time, according to crash reports.
