Dean, Cynda F. 1945-2025 Faucett, Mo.

FAUCETT, Mo. – Cynda Faye Dean, 80, Faucett, Missouri, passed away Saturday, Dec. 13, 2025. She was born Jan. 2, 1945, to Everett Fay and Georgia “Betty” (Crockett) Cotter in St. Joseph.

On Nov. 27, 1965, Cynda married the love of her life, Ronnie M. Dean.

Cynda’s passion for life was evident in her active involvement in numerous local organizations and clubs in Faucett and DeKalb, Missouri. As a proud member of the Tri Sigma Sorority, she forged lifelong friendships and served her community with the same level of devotion she offered her family.

Family was the heart of Cynda’s universe. She cheered on her children and grandchildren at every sporting event, tractor pull, and FFA activity, never missing an opportunity to show her love and support.

A talented pianist, she shared her gift readily as the pianist for Central Christian Church and Faucett Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her in-laws, Chunky and Madonna Dean.

Survivors include her husband, Ronnie; daughters, Angie Myers (Jeff) and Cydney Terry (Brice); grandchildren, Tristan Myers (Mallory), Tucker Myers (Madi), Tannah Lager (Shelby), Tayton Terry (Maggie), Ryan Terry (Ashley) and Brett Terry; grea-grandchildren, Hesston Lager, Breckyn Lager and Nash Myers.

Farewell Services and Public Livestream 3 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 18, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will gather with friends 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society or Central Christian Church.
