MOSES LAKE, Wash. – John Henry Winslow, 86, affectionately known as “Trevin” and “Pops”, died during a cardiac event on the evening of June 15, 2024, with his beloved daughters by his side.

John was the youngest of seven children born to Edward and Lola in Nodaway County, Missouri. He was the first to graduate high school.

He is survived by five of his six sons and two daughters, Rena Hanson (Philip), of Washington, and Shena Lally (Michael), of Montana.

John married at least three times during his life, Shirley Woods (four sons), Nancy Richards, Linda Grindle (one son). John shared three children with Katie Armstrong.

John resided in Nome, Homer and Anchorage, Alaska, from 1978 to 2016. He then moved to the Dayton, Ohio, area and onto Moses Lake, Washington, in 2023.

He was a kind and loving father who loved all his children deeply. He was very generous, often giving his last dollar to anyone in need, saying “The good Lord takes care of me.” John died with the hope of resurrection. Acts 24:15.
