Elder, Patricia 1943-2025 St. Joseph, Mo.

Patricia Elder 82, of St. Joseph, passed away Saturday, Nov. 22, 2025, in Mound City, Missouri. She was born Sept. 15, 1943, in Kansas City, Kansas.

Violet was preceded in death by husband, Steve Elder; parents, Lillian and Emil Paxton; son, Stephen Gregory Elder.

Survivors include son, Bruce Elder; daughters, Marsha (Clayton) Branch and Megan Elder; eight grandchildren; three brothers: Jim, Phillip, and Kenneth Paxton.

Family received friends from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, with funeral services and public live stream 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, 2025, at the Rupp Funeral Home. Interment Nickols Grove Cemetery, Oregon, Missouri.
