LIBERTY, Mo. – Beverly Ann Giesenhagen (Green), 89, of Liberty, Missouri, was born in Elkhorn, Iowa, and grew up in Grand Island, Nebraska, went home to be with the Lord on Nov. 15, 2025.

Beverly’s life was marked by devotion to family and faithful service to Jesus Christ. In her early years, she dedicated herself to teaching and raising her children. Later, she answered the call to missions, serving throughout the world and touching countless lives with her faith. She was deeply involved in her church and women’s ministries, where she became a spiritual mother to many and a blessing to everyone she met.

Beverly was a wonderful wife, mother, aunt, and friend whose warmth and faith left an enduring impact on all who knew her.

She is survived by her three children: Laura Peters (John), Paul Giesenhagen (favorite) (Jan), and Karen Meloway (Jim); her sister, Linda Moore; 10 grandchildren: Timothy Forbes, Christopher Forbes (Shea), Matthew Forbes (Kimberly), Jacob Forbes (Alexandria), Jacob Peters (Kennnia), Paul Giesenhagen III, Grace Giesenhagen, Josie Giesenhagen, and Hunter Meloway; and seven great-grandchildren: Caden, Garrett, Isabella, McKinnon, Melanie, Kennedy, and Ellie-Blayne.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul Giesenhagen (2009), and her brother, Harold “Skeez” Green.

Services to honor and celebrate Beverly’s life will be held at Relevant Church, located at 101 N Forest Avenue, Liberty, MO 64068, on Saturday, Nov. 22. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m., followed by a Celebration of Life service at noon. Interment will be in the Second Creek Cemetery Kansas City, Missouri. As published in the St. Joseph News-Press.
