This is what happens

Everybody talks about the direction this country's going. Well, this is what happens when you put a bunch of adolescent, immature children in office. They pout, they argue, they're right, everybody's wrong, instead of focusing on what needs to be done. There's a lot of people lost their benefits, man. A lot of families are going without food.

Pot calling the kettle black

I saw Josh Hawley was just on the radio going, “This problem with the shutdown should have never started.” Well, he's part of it. That's like calling the kettle black. What a mess. It's just a mess, and Trump's behind the whole mess.

We need term limits

I think they need to make term limits, just like the president, two terms and you're out. They need to do that with all the White House, the Congress, the Senate, all of them. Two terms and you're out. School board, two terms and you're out. The county courthouse up here in St. Joe, two terms and you're out. Two terms, get them all out and get somebody new in there because they've been in there too long.

Property tax

This is in regard to the property tax in the paper. What is going on? How do they expect people to pay the increases? People are working without pay. People are not working due to the shutdown. Food stamps, people are doing without food or not having as much food. Who is taking care of this city?
