AGENCY, Mo. – Marcia Abel, 79, of Agency, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 30, 2025. Marcia was born on July 30, 1946, to Navona Vearl (Tucker) and Marvin Leon Talley, in Cape Giradeau, Missouri.
On May 14, 1965, Marcia was united in marriage to Ted Abel in Halfway, Missouri.
Marcia proudly owned her own business called Sycamore Lane, then later Black Velvet Nostalgia, selling gifts and collectables. Stating that Marcia was an avid fan of Elvis Presley would be an understatement to say the least. She enjoyed all things Elvis! Additionally Marcia loved to proudly collect and display her family heirlooms, and spend time with her beloved dogs, Tucker and AJ.
Marcia is survived by her husband, Ted, of 60 years; and daughter, Lea Rae Parker; daughter-in-law, Angie Abel; grandchildren, Allison, Ashley, Aimee, Gabriel, and Morgan; and nine great-grandchildren.
Preceding Marcia in death are her parents, Marvin and Navona Talley; sister, Donna LaCrue; her son, Aaron Abel; and son-in-law, Ronnie Parker.
Services for Marcia will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2025, at 11 a.m. at the Heaton-Bowman-Smith-Sidenfaden Chapel officiated by Pastor, A. Douglas Cline. The family will receive friends in visitation, one hour prior to the service, starting at 10 a.m.
Interment to follow at the Savannah Cemetery in Savannah, Missouri.
