Simpson, Randall R. 1960-2025 St. Joseph, Mo.

Randall R. Simpson, 65, St. Joseph, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2025. He was born Jan. 9, 1960, to Bill and Mariann (Smith) Simpson, in St. Joseph.

On Nov. 20, 1981, Randall married the love of his life, Carla Marie Maxwell.

Randall dedicated 10 years of his life serving as a building inspector for the city of St. Joseph.

Randall was an avid outdoorsman. He found solace and excitement in hunting and fishing. He often captivated his friends and family with a good joke and a hearty laugh.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Rocky Simpson.

Survivors include his wife, Carla; daughter, Megan Dufour (Andrew); granddaughter, Grace Dufour; siblings, Jeannie Snapp (Cork) and David Simpson (Chellie); and numerous cousins.

Natural Farwell under the direction of Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Mosaic Cancer Center.
