Bohon, David 1951-2025 St. Joseph, Mo.

David “Mike” Bohon, 74, St. Joseph, passed away Monday, Oct. 13, 2025. He was born Feb. 10, 1951, to Clinton D., Sr. and Mary F. (Kelly) Bohon in Hannibal, Missouri.
After serving in the United States Army during the challenging days of the Vietnam War, Mike returned home to embrace a new chapter. It was through his role as a skilled welder at Altec that he not only shaped metals but also forged lasting friendships during his impressive 26 years with the company.
His love for hunting and fishing was only rivaled by the joy he found in carpentry and woodworking, crafting pieces that were as functional as they were beautiful.
Those who knew Mike will fondly recall his unmistakable love for pranking and joking around. His playful humor brought light and laughter into every gathering, creating memories that will continue to warm the hearts of his friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Ronnie Bohon, Mary Miller, Linda Terry and Danny Ray Bohon.
Survivors include his siblings, Marsha Jenkins and Clinton Daniel Bohon, Jr. (Melissa); stepdaughter, Danielle Grimmig; close friends, Dave Grable (Mel) and hunting buddy of 40 years, Ron Miller; numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, extended family and friends.
