Very confused

My husband and I downsized to a smaller home a year ago in November. It is an older home and perfect for us, but it needs some upgrades. We have called for estimates for new windows, new siding, and an updated privacy fence. This was weeks ago. Either they don't show up, or they come and take a look and never get back with us. Do people not like to work or want to give their business a bad name? Totally confused with the business and working world.

No coherent decisions

I am 77 years old. I have an anxiety disorder. I have to pay property tax, income tax and sales tax. My utilities are going up. I live on a fixed income, and the St. Joe School District cannot make a coherent decision about high schools.

Just picture it

Picture this: Thousands of government workers are forced to work without pay. They are called essential workers. However, you have Republican Congress members that are told to stay at home, do not come back to Washington to do your job, get paid and receive your benefits, do this to protect Trump from the Epstein files and work to end the government shut down. Picture this.

Violation of the law

The Secretary of Treasurer of the United States is proposing to mint a $1 coin with the likeness of President Trump on it. As I understand, the law is likeness or engravings or landmarks by the federal government with the likeness of a famous politician individual is prohibited while that person is alive. And this includes elected officials, movie stars, scientists, and so on and so forth. And then that's for stamps, bonds, coins, paper money, and it also includes landmarks like airports, federal buildings, and tall pieces of real estate. These are all proof of violation of the law, and hopefully they will not do it.
