Tracking warm and sunny conditions through the weekend

A quiet and dry weather pattern continues today and through the weekend.

This morning, areas of patchy fog are possible, especially in low-lying spots near the river. Some fog may also develop on the eastern side of town. If you're heading out early, be sure to allow a few extra minutes for your commute and drive with caution.

Skies will clear quickly, with plenty of sunshine pushing temperatures into the mid-80s this afternoon. Expect another warm and sunny day on Saturday, with highs climbing into the mid to upper 80s—perfect weather for the St. Joseph Marathon.

The sunny, above-average temperatures will continue into Sunday, with highs again in the upper 80s. This dry and warm pattern will stretch into early next week, with no significant rain chances through at least the end of the week.

For reference, the average high temperature this time of year is in the upper 70s, so we're running about 5 to 10 degrees above normal.

Enjoy the sunshine, and stay hydrated!
