Horsman, Harry W. 1942-2025 St. Joseph, Mo.

Harry Wayne Horsman, 83, of St. Joseph, passed away Saturday, Sept. 13, 2025, at Mosaic Life Care. He was born July 11, 1942, in Clarksdale, Missouri, son of Wilma and Frank “Bud” Horsman.
Harry graduated from Clarksdale High School, class of 1960. In July 1971, he married his wife of nearly 45 years, Roberta “Sissy” Horsman. Harry was a truck driver, working with National Wide Trucking for many years. He was known on the CB Radio as “Shotgun”. Harry enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and he loved doing yard work. He was also a member of the 4F Flathead Club.
Harry was preceded in death his parents; wife, Roberta “Sissy” Horseman; and sister, Sue Holden.
Survivors include daughters, Gwen (Donald) Merritt, of St. Joseph, and Jamie (Barry) Adams, of Cameron, Missouri; siblings, Joan Justus, Doris Horsman, Darlene Fitzpatrick, David Horsman, Phyllis Trenton, Terry Horsman, Dennis (Laqueeta) Horsman, and Ben Horsman; eight grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19, 2025, at the Rupp Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. on Friday. The Interment will be at the Clarksdale Cemetery, Clarksdale. Memorials are requested to the Harry Horsman Memorial Fund, c/o Rupp Funeral Home.
