Grier, Linda 1945-2025 Stewartsville, Mo.

STEWARTSVILLE, Mo. – Linda Grier, 80, of Stewartsville, Missouri, passed away, Sept. 14, 2025. She was born on Aug. 18, 1945, to Boyd and Callie (Banks) Simpson in Kansas City, Missouri. She grew up in Plattsburg and graduated from Plattsburg High School.

On Jan. 25, 1969, she was united in marriage to Eddie Grier. After their marriage they farmed near Hemple, Missouri.

Linda worked at Hallmark and Adco Litho Printing Company, in Kansas City. She was a member of the China Painting Club, in St. Joseph. Linda and Eddie loved to travel and traveled all over North America.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Ann Younger Johanna Woody.

Linda is survived by her husband, Eddie; children, Michelle and Clint; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brother, Tommy Simpson; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
