Your Letters for Aug. 29, 2025

Dear Democrats

Dear Democratic followers, please let go of your hatred of Donald Trump and quit trying to scare people.
Over 63% of Buchanan County voters chose Trump to be president in 2024. No matter what your turnout is for this, the 3rd or 4th or 5th rally, the only people you are appealing to are your own. Look at me and see what I am doing.
Until Democrats quit trying to nullify Trump and start writing laws, which is their primary job, they are irrelevant.
Not 1 murder in D.C. in 11 days now. Are all of you Democrats against that?

What are Sanctuary Cities in the United States?

A sanctuary city is a term that refers to municipal jurisdictions that have laws, ordinances, or other regulations that limit cooperation with federal authorities and obstruct immigration enforcement and ICE. These cities refuse to or prohibit agencies from complying with ICE, deny ICE access to interview incarcerated aliens and prevent ICE personnel from carrying out their duties.

Federal legislation from 1996 required local law to aid with dangerous illegals, instead these cities seek to nullify federal immigration and help. These cities ignore 8 U.S.C. 1182, 8 U.S.C. 1373, and section 1373 does not force local law to notify which laws are being broken!

There are more than 500 cities and counties that consider themselves sanctuaries, the heart of them being New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, D.C., Denver, Boston, Baltimore, Newark and Seattle. These cities seem to ignore the 8 USC #1373, and article VI clause 2 and the 10th amendment. The population of illegals in these cities ranges from 7.9 to 15 million illegals. In 2017, there were 689,800 DACA recipients.

What are the pros and cons? Local law enforcement cannot do their jobs. Crime rates, (2020) 1,1442 crimes per 100,000 residents, they harbor criminals, they defy federal laws, possible lost of federal funds, education programs, language problems, respect for the law, breaking federal laws, lack of arrests, welfare of these illegals over tax paying citizens, cooperation of the people with law enforcement, under the table pay. Deportations down.

They claim better relations between enforcement and citizens. How can they justify illegals/protestors wearing masks and not the police/ICE? Where is the outcry over Soros' paid riots, looting, no bail arrest? Destruction of property and incite to riot, U.S. code 18? Why weren’t the laws passed under Biden not enforced? Why are these cities not enforcing the laws on the books?

Will the executive order “Protecting American Communities from Criminal Aliens” be enforced and the loss of federal funds enforced? Reporting of crimes by illegals in these cities are not getting reported. How can somebody who has broken the law expect not to be dealt with? Why do these law breakers feel they do not have to have an I.D.? Who is controlling the gangs in these cities, Tren de Aragua and the Salvadorians, why are local and state police prevented from doing their jobs? Why are Title 8, #1373, laws ignored in these states?

Why are these sanctuary cities now asking for more funds to control the crimes/gangs? Will executive order "#14159-Constitutional Analysis of Sanctuary City Funding Restrictions" be enforced in the field? Also known as Protecting the American People Against Invasion!

In 2020, these cities accounted for nearly 70% of drug overdoses in the U.S. Fair analysis. Illegal immigration costs us $132 billion annually. Illegals are displacing American workers! The Department of Justice provided $1.56 billion in funding! Where are the explanations from the mayors of these cities on these policies?

People in these cities wonder where are the police when they call — defunding ring a bell? In 2015, 80% of the Dems were proud to be Americans re Gallup who now puts the number at 36% in 2025.

Who is covering the cost of the riots, protests, destruction? You, the taxpayer! If Soros can pay to have people bused in for these protests, then he should pay for the damage they cause. Why are the damages of these riots not a factor to the sanctuary cities? Do they believe the government will bail them out? Look at 18 U.S. code &2101 riots. The First Amendment protects the rights of US citizens to “peacefully” protest, not inciting to riot.

Start using 8 U.S.C. $1373, which prohibits local government from restricting information sharing with federal immigration authorizes.
