BCWDC holds August meeting

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (News-Press NOW) -- The Buchanan County Women's Democratic Club has announced it will hold its August monthly meeting.

Northwest Missouri Field Representative Dr. Nancy Zeliff will explain the RESPECTMOVOTERS petition drive underway to stop the state's legislature from rescinding ballot measures approved by voters.

The meeting will take place at noon on Tuesday, Aug. 26, at San Jose Steakhouse, located at 4015 S. Belt Highway.

Attendees who wish to eat lunch are advised to arrive at 11 a.m. to order from the menu.
