Nadine Whitehead, 65, of St Joseph, passed away Thursday, Aug. 7, 2025, at a Savannah, Missouri, health care facility. She was born Oct. 2, 1959, in Billings, Montana, daughter of Merthyl (Ferguson) and Lawrence Warn. They lived in Worden, Montana, where she joined older brother, Bob, and three younger siblings followed. In 1967 the family moved to Miles City, Montana. She graduated from Custer County High School, where she was active with Deca Club, FHA, and was a Matador. Nadine also participated on the swim team in the summers.

Nadine married Jeffrey Whitehead on Aug. 21, 1993, in Sidney, Montana. Nadine most recently operated County Road Cakes, and had a Mobile Notary Service. She spent much of her time in the kitchen and her garden. She loved baking, cooking, canning, and she was very artistic and creative. She often used those talents in her baking, crafting, or making greeting cards. She also enjoyed playing golf, bunco, cribbage, and she loved her dogs. She served as a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority since high school.

Nadine was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include: husband, Jeffrey Whitehead, of St. Joseph; daughters, Danita Jordan, of Yankton, South Dakota, and Chandra (Jeremy) Shanks, of Colton, South Dakota; grandchildren, Brynlee Shanks, CJ Jordan, and Brianna Jordan; her step-daughter, Amber (Austin) Perez, of Omaha, Nebraska; siblings, Rob (Janice) Warn, of Miles City, Diona (Jerry) Austill, of Great Falls, Montana, Russell (April) Warn, of Fresno, Texas, and Del Norwood, of Billings; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Whitehead has been cremated under the care of Rupp Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be at 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 18, 2025, at Rupp Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. on Monday. Memorials in Nadine’s name are requested to the ALS Foundation.
