Castle, Marlys 1931-2025 Boise, Idaho

BOISE, Idaho – Marlys Castle, 94, passed peacefully Aug. 3, 2025, with her daughter by her side.

Marlys retired as Executive Secretary to the President of Wire Rope Corporation, in St. Joseph.

Marlys was devoted to her family and friends. She was married to her husband, Bill, for 74 years, a partnership marked by enduring love and shared adventures with friends from Colorado to Caracas, Venezuela. She had a closeness with all her nieces and nephews across the country and maintained strong ties no matter the distance.

She is survived by her husband, Bill Castle; her daughter, Cynthia (Castle) Boone and her husband Rick Boone; and step- grandson, Bryan Boone; her sister, Janet Lindahl; brother, Tom Lindahl; and many cherished nieces and nephews. As published in the St. Joseph News-Press.
