Mustangs batter Matt Wollnik hits against the Chillicothe Mudcats in a game earlier this season.

The St. Joseph Mustangs will not play makeup games against league rivals Chillicothe and Clarinda, the team announced.

The previously scheduled games were rendered unnecessary after Clarinda secured a final playoff spot with a victory over Chillicothe. The Mustangs, who won 6-5 Monday at Sedalia, already had secured the MINK League's north division title.

The next Mustangs game is a divisional championship set for 7 p.m. Thursday, July 27, at Phil Welch Stadium.
