There was little movement for area teams in the Missouri Media football rankings released Monday.
Lathrop (5-0) and Maryville (4-1) highlight northwest Missouri as the No. 3 and 4 teams in Class 2 after blowout wins. Lathrop shutout West Platte in a weather-shortened contest while the Spoofhounds drubbed Cameron in Week 5.
The Mules will head to Lawson this week while Maryville travels to Benton.
In Class 1, Mid-Buchanan remained at No. 4 after a 35-0 win at Hamilton. The Dragons host East Buchanan on Friday.
Gallatin is the lone team to move up in the polls, climbing from No. 9 to 8 with a 5-0 start.
Savannah (4-1) received four votes in Class 3 after its fourth straight win Friday in a rout of Benton. The Savages will face Cameron before taking on Chillicothe and Maryville in Weeks 7 and 8.
In the Missouri Media 8-man polls, Pattonsburg received six of seven first-place votes, coming in just ahead of East Atchison.
Mount City came in third, while Southwest Livingston and Worth County tie for fourth.
North Andrew was ranked sixth.
Mound City will host East Atchison this Friday in a meeting of two top-three teams.
