Missouri Western sophomore Allycia Gan tees off during the Holiday Inn Express Classic in March at the St. Joseph Country Club.

Missouri Western’s Allycia Gan sits in a tie for third place after two rounds of the NCAA Division II Central Region Tournament.

Gan shot six strokes higher than her Round 1 total at the Hot Springs Country Club in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Gan started the day strong with a birdie on her first three holes. She finished with three bogeys and two double bogeys the rest of the way, carding a 4-over 76. She is tied for the tournament lead with eight birdies.

The Griffon sophomore is tied with Central Missouri’s Rosie Klausner. The top two individuals not on a qualifying team will advance to nationals.
