The Kansas City Chiefs are signing another former Dallas Cowboys linebacker, as Damien Wilson is set to join a rebuilding defense.

According to multiple reports, Wilson is signing a deal to reunite with middle linebacker Anthony Hitchens, who played with the 25-year-old in Dallas.

Wilson was taken in the fourth round of the 2015 NFL Draft and learned all three positions with the Cowboys. He was ranked the 87th linebacker in the NFL by Pro Football Focus in 2018.

Wilson finished with 37 tackles, one sack and one forced fumble. He played 28 percent of the team’s snaps.

Experts have early projections saying Wilson will start as a strong-side linebacker next to Reggie Ragland and Hitchens.
