The front page article about the underdeveloped baby that was aborted is a typical Associated Press news story. We use a very rare condition to justify the abortion and then complain about women who have to go out of state to have their healthy babies killed.
Den of opium
Where does all the opium come from, that they are using to make opiates, opium-based drugs? Where’s it coming from? Hmm. Sound suspicious to me.
Let me see if I understand correctly. It is OK if drag queens read LGBT books to children at the public library, but it’s not OK with the LGBT community if Chick-fil-A sells sandwiches at Missouri Western. I guess tolerance works just one way.
Now President Donald Trump refuses to let people from the Bahamas who need refuge temporarily stay here. If you Christians approve of that, you’re not Christians, you’re hypocrites. … I’m disgusted with the whole outfit. Trump obviously is too much of a coward to want to let people in. And anyone who supports him is not a Christian.
So a caller recently asked why San Francisco would designate the NRA a terrorist group. It’s very simple: That’s how you start making a group you don’t like and want to do away with less palatable to the general public. That way, when you attack them, you aren’t attacking Americans with a different idea, you’re attacking terrorists.
I do not know when was the last time I saw a Missouri Department of Transportation vehicle on a blacktop road. It makes you wonder what the winter will be like when we have snow and ice. If you live out here on a blacktop road, you better buy a snowplow.
Pray it’s true
To the person asking about the Constitution, about all men being created equal: It’s like reading the Bible. You hope what you’re reading is true, but can’t help but question some things. You just hope and pray it is true, even if it doesn’t seem possible.
Come on, people
I think 9/11 could be a good day to think about putting aside personal attacks and partisanship and start working together to address the country’s most pressing issues. We did it once. We can do it again.
