In a haze
I can’t believe the thousands of children and teenagers who have been getting killed by guns and drunken drivers, and they’re all up in arms over 13 who died because of vaping? Could this be a distraction?
I’ll be the first to admit I’m not a Republican. I just bought some stamps with George H.W. Bush on them, and may I say he would be a godsend — any of the Bushes — compared to the nitwit we have in there now.
A real liar
I sure agree with the caller who was ashamed of the state of Missouri. I’ve been a citizen of Missouri my whole life, and I’m in my 70s. I, too, am ashamed of Missouri, to vote in somebody like President Donald Trump. He is a liar and a cheat and we’re going to find that out.
If I was a Vietnam vet, I would appreciate all President Trump has done for vets and our military.
Kids are fine
Yes, a lot of things are going wrong in our country, as one person said. But it’s not because we are not correcting our children when they do wrong. It’s because an angry old man thinks he alone knows how to fix everything, but he is incompetent. Our children are doing fine.
I am no fan of Trump, but everyone keeps calling in and saying he’s trying to take their freedoms. What freedoms is Trump taking? He’s crude, and vulgar, and he makes phone calls and says things he shouldn’t, but I don’t see him taking freedoms. The previous administration under former President Barack Obama regulated us like crazy. That’s taking freedom.
Once again, we have someone spouting off about how Trump is breaking laws and doing stuff illegally. And yet, they have found him doing nothing illegal. You get all kinds of accusations from the Democrats and their comrades in the media, but he has done nothing. On the other foot, we’re finding out that all this stuff with Ukraine that the Democrats are screaming about, they’re the ones that did all the stuff they’re accusing Trump of doing.
Something I can’t understand about this global warming debate, everyone’s jumping up and down saying, “We need to do this! We need to do that!” But the United States is not the problem. China and these other countries put all this in the air. We’ve cleaned this country up about 90 percent of what could be done. It’s not an American problem. It’s a worldwide problem.
