World of coal
I was wondering, with all this climate change talk, how many coal-fired plants are being built in China today? And also in India, probably North Korea and Russia?
President Donald Trump is like any other crook. They never stop of their own accord; they have to be stopped. As long as it’s working for them, they keep doing it. So I’m glad Congress has finally decided to put a stop to his lawlessness.
It’s amazing that people continue to call industrial wind turbines “green energy.”
In response to the view on renewable energy through wind turbines: This new era of empowerment allows people to say not only what they know, but they continue to say more than they know. Generation by fossil fuel is the No. 1 carbon producer affecting climate change. Very few industries or individuals haven’t received a federal subsidy. Fossil fuels certainly do. If efficiency wins out, check out boiler efficiency or coal-fired power plants. Why recycle scrap metal? Just incinerate it and add more carbon to the atmosphere.
Columnist George Will is saying that another election, not impeachment, is the best remedy for presidential misconduct. Will is a fanatic supporter of the Constitution, so why does he think the framers established explicit rules for impeachment if we have to wait until the next election to exercise oversight?
Loud and proud
The greatest thing about the president using Twitter is that Democrats can’t get in his face and shout him down. The biased left-wing news media won’t give the president any airtime. The liberals are furious that they can’t totally silence Trump. California Sen. Kamala Harris is trying to persuade Twitter to silence the president. Good luck with that.
Red means stop
There’s people in this town who need to learn how to stop at a red light. I’ve about been hit three times. Where’s the police giving out tickets? Why aren’t they enforcing this?
I’m calling about the ditches that are supposed to be down here in the South End. How about somebody getting out here and digging them out? It’s getting ridiculous.
Not a coup
President Trump talked about “this is a coup.” He doesn’t even know what he’s talking about. A coup is when a government is suddenly overthrown. What our government is trying to do is work the way our founders said it should. If Trump is removed from office, someone from his own party takes over. We’re just trying to get him out.
