Placeholder It's Your Call

Grab a bucket

Maybe I’ll just shut my water off and get me an outhouse put out back. At least I won’t have the high sewer bill anymore. Just have an outhouse out back like they used to do in the ’50s and ’40s. Won’t have a sewer bill that way.

Shame and blame

You know, it’s in my prayers that the left will grow brains. Everyone’s screaming, even from the right, “Oh, my God! Trump pulled out of Syria!” Can you imagine the grief President Donald Trump would have gotten had he left those 12 men in the middle of two armies approaching each other? Get a life, read a book, understand what’s going on, and quit using the Democrat playbook of blame, blame, blame. The left has no shame and takes no blame for anything.

Priorities

We can afford millions for defense, can afford to fly Trump all around the country going to his golf clubs, and tax breaks for the corporations and the rich, but we can’t afford to feed a few hundred poor children school lunches. What kind of a country is this?

Low source

With all this insulting and name-calling and put-downs that Donald Trump does, it makes me think of my grandmother’s advice to us kids, which was “consider the source.” So it’s not a bad thing to be insulted by Trump. That’s a pretty low source.

I believe

After being a Republican, I now cannot believe in my party anymore. The representatives and the people in the White House are so scared to stand up for truth and values. I am worried and scared what lies ahead for the American people. I used to not believe in impeachment; I now believe in impeachment.

Time crawls

We have a 73-year-old man serving as president of the United States. Emotionally and mentally, he is a spoiled 12-year-old super rich boy throwing another temper tantrum. Can we please get a mature adult to take over as president? Trump has served 1,000 days as president; it feels more like 1,000 years.

Piece of clay

A bigger concern than the phone call with the Ukrainian president is the phone call with the Turkish president. Why is President Trump so easily swayed by people who don’t have U.S. interests at heart? If you’re going to be manipulated, at least be manipulated by U.S. advisers.

“ If, in 2012, Barack Obama had held up military aid to an ally until that ally provided dirt on Mitt Romney, every Republican in Congress would be screaming for Obama’s impeachment.”

beelog

Impeachment---If there is guilt, as the Democrats claim, there should be no reason not to call for a vote of House members. Why the big secrecy regarding the identity of the whistleblower? It is because revealing the source will negate the legitimacy of the complaint? In any court proceedings, the accused has the right to face their accuser. Why do the Democrats want to circumvent that? The truth is, this is a kangaroo court designed not to remove the president, but a ruse in a weak effort to damage is 2020 candidacy. It is shameful. It is a waste of tax dollars since we know the Senate will not convict. It is an exercise in futility, unless it is nothing but campaign rhetoric.

aj0201

By law, whistleblowers maintain anonymity.

jdw64485

Which law is that?

DuddleyDOITleft

The whistle blower law.

aj0201

The Whistleblower Protection Act, 1989 signed by President George HW Bush.

DuddleyDOITleft

You are so wrong in so many ways. First of all the Constitution does NOT require any such vote. The only vote needed is to pass the articles of impeachment to the Senate. Impeachment is not a trial so rights of the accused do not exist in impeachment. Impeachment is like a Grand Jury investigation that hand down an indictment. You are so locked in that bubble filled with Trump's gas that anything the pathological liar says is gospel to you. I sometime worry for you poor wretched people as to what will happen when Trump loses and the chances of that loom larger everyday..

jdw64485

If President Trump loses. Nothing will happen. America will go on. There be no riots, no burning building, no destruction of any property. The outcome will be excepted

jdw64485

Vote conservative in 20/20.

aj0201

Trump isn’t a conservative. Better vote Joe Walsh.

jdw64485

I believe You say you're worried about the future of America. Will I'm not so much worried. But I am concerned if the Democrats win the election. We don't want or need a socialist Government. Vote a conservative platform. In 20/20.

aj0201

Electing a democrat won’t give us a socialist government jdw. Don’t be ridiculous.

jdw64485

Well maybe not. But there's a lot more socialist Democrats than Republicans who lean towards socialism. So, do we really want to move in that direction?

aj0201

A “social democrat” isn’t a pure socialist. Someone like Bernie Sanders knows and expects capitalism to fund his ideas. None of them are advocating a turn toward socialism. Paying for social programs is NOT socialism.

beelog

Maybe not initially, but it will begin the slippery slope. If you listen to the debates, you have to know that much of what is being said refers to pure socialism. Going after the wealthy is a common tactic of socialists. The same is true for taking away guns, providing equal, no cost health care, guaranteed income for not working, etc. Socialism always results in dictatorships which greatly restrict the rights of citizens. All of these "special interest groups" should consider that there is no room for them under such a government system. All control ends up in the hands of a very few people who are primarily interested in keeping their positions for life and enriching themselves while the general population merely survives.

aj0201

It’s small wonder Trump supporters have a hard time understanding why it is that we won’t become a purely socialist country. Electing a pure socialist candidate does NOT ensure that we will become a socialist nature due to the genius of the founding fathers when they provided two checks on the executive branch, those being Congress and the Supreme Court. Trump supporters fail to see either as being a check on Trump so they fear socialism because they don’t understand that Congress and SCOTUS won’t just cede control time pure socialists. Just like they aren’t to the fascist that’s in the White House now.

beelog

Trump--As I've said before, I'm not thrilled with his personality. He can be crude. But I like the fact that he puts America First, that he is a patriot, and that he can get things done. Our economy is now the strongest in the world, jobs are everywhere, people have money in their pockets, consumer confidence is very high, the stock market likes Trump which helps us all. Yet some want to be rid of him---I understand that those who benefit from the "swamp" don't like him, but I can't understand the little people who apparently enjoy seeing the bureaucrats and politicians in Washington enrich themselves at our expense. Do you enjoy seeing your money go to purchase massive mansions, buy yachts, and cushy retirements for those living off of you?

aj0201

Immorality doesn’t matter as long as people have money in their pockets, right? You’re literally saying it’s ok to be a sellout. Also, I just shared the other day how Trump has more lobbyists on staff than Obama or Bush. Your “swamp” references are tiresome.

It would be a good opportunity for Vlad to present President Trump with those 33,000 missing classified e-mails from Hillary's time as Sec/State

Then they can lead her to the firing squad in chains on live TV for Treason... [huh]

aj0201

James Bond1

aj0201...………….he said he would not benefit. I think its reasonable to wait patiently until he provides the record of his hotel when he allows the visitors to check in. He has said he would provide the record of their stay. This is a man who doesn't even take a salary for his employment. Why would you assume he would profit from his hotel. Do you suppose Michelle OBUMER saved us a few bucks by just having TWENTY THREE HELPERS...………..when all prior Presidential wives usually had 2 or 3 such helpers.

beelog

The hotel rooms are "at cost"---no profit involved.

aj0201

James, to argue with you is fruitless when you compare michelle Obama to other First Ladies in such a way. You’re flat out lying and it’s a provable lie. We don’t need his hotel statements because we know what the secret service is paying to stay at these hotels. They don’t get to stay someplace for free. When they travel with the President, the taxpayer pays for them to stay. In the case of Trump, it’s at his personal hotels. This is not rocket science and should be understandable for everyone.

aj0201

Can you back that up bee? Hotel rooms at cost are dirt cheap. There is no indication that this is being done “at cost.”

aj0201

“ President Trump hired 281 lobbyists to his administration by the halfway point of his first term, which is four times more than President Obama hired six years into office.

One lobbyist was hired for every 14 political appointments made, according to a ProPublica and Columbia Journalism Investigations analysis released Tuesday.

Trump had named more ex-lobbyists to his cabinet by September than Obama and President Bush did in their eight years in the White House, The Associated Press reported at the time. That includes recent additions Labor Secretary Eugene Scalia and Defense Secretary Mark Esper.” —— The Hill

James Bond1

Are you impressed by the fact that those appointments were well experienced secretaries. most of Obumer's were people who were strong, active supporters of his campaign. Hummmmmmm

aj0201

Oh James. I hope you’re blissful at least

I was trying to ask Maxine Waters where she got money for 3 multi-million dollar mansions. After all she has a congressional salary...……………..but what else. Lets get it out to see.

aj0201

No she doesn’t, liar. This is easily disproved. And even if she did, where is the claim against her that she has done anything wrong? Certainly congressional republicans would know about this and make a claim against her?? Instead it’s a nobody from Country Club Village MO that has decided this.

The five-day cease-fire brokered by Pence and Pompeo is said to be broken in its first day by Turkey firing on Kurd settlements. Trying to deal with opposing Islamic religious fanatics like Erdogan and Assad is proving to be an exercise in futility and we have no business being in the middle of it. Get our military personnel out of harms way in Syria and Afghanistan and use our technology and hardware to immediately put down any and all terroristic threats to OUR citizenry. Let the Islamic fanatics kill each other as they have been doing for centuries, just stay out of their battlefields.

Priorities---This nation was founded by people who believed the purpose of government was to provide an atmosphere in which people could take care of themselves and their families, be responsible citizens. Now Democrats promote a government which spoon feeds its citizens and takes away self-responsibility. That is so sad. Why do Democrats feel people can't take care of themselves?

beelog

Priorities---what kind of parents won't pay for their children's lunches? I suspect they have their booze, their illegal drugs, their cigarettes, and their tattoos. Employers are experiencing difficulty finding workers--anyone who really wants to work can find a job---assuming there are not rings in their noses, tattoos on their face, pants half-way down their legs, cigarettes in their mouth, and the inability to pass a drug test.

James Bond1

It's the illegal alliens that won't pay for their children's lunches...……...or anything else for that matter.

beelog

I believe---Another "paid operative".

beelog

Low source---(Trump put-downs)--Trump is merely reading from the Democrat playbook, using their tactics against them, and they are horrified. It is Democrats who accost Republicans who are out with their families for dinner, it is Democrats who physically attack Republicans (Antifa), it is Democrats who are conducting a shameful melodrama of an impeachment inquiry which will result in "nothing". The Democrat followers follow discredited CNN and MSNBC with their tongues hanging out as those stations promise "results" which so far have only been "duds". Just keep salivating, but you'll have to wait until 2024.

beelog

Democrats have instructed their sheep to call in and write letters opposing Trump. They know he is going to win reelection and they are doing everything possible to prevent it. The "impeachment inquiry" is simply a ploy to attack Trump---anything leaked to the media is designed to only support the Democrat position. This "impeachment kangaroo court" is one of the most shameful political stunts in American history---not designed to tell the truth, but to smear a sitting President.

Are you happy that the "impeachment inquiry" is in secret and not allowing Republicans to participate, nor the accused to defend himself?

aj0201

“I earned my spurs on the battlefield,” General James “Mad Dog” Mattis, USMC Retired

Marty_Chuzzlewit

Might it not be better to have civilian leadership that keeps our military personnel OFF the battlefields of religious fanatics.....just a thought

aj0201

Sure! We shouldn’t have been there to begin with. But we were and as such we need to act with a modicum of military strategy and statesman diplomacy. Are we going to be able to rely on the Kurds when ISIS inevitably resurges? Nope. Do our other allies question our resolve? Yep. And is redeploying Tripp’s to Saudi Arabia really getting them “off the battlefield of religious fanatics?” Nope.

Marty_Chuzzlewit

Linda Tripp is being deployed to Saudi Arabia? Just kidding. At least the Saudis are not warring internally and so far the Yemen conflict is not spilling over into other sovereignties. It is at least a safer place for American military and diplomatic personnel and protecting our economic interests in the Gulf trade routes has to be a major concern. As long as American lives are not put at risk we should maintain a presence there.

aj0201

Linda Tripp would scare anyone into surrender. Frightening looking woman....

mywagginisdraggin

absolutely correct

DuddleyDOITleft

Piece of clay. The real answer to your question is money. Trump views the presidency as a great way to increase the fortunes of the Trump empire and has nothing to with ding right for the people of America. Remember his Billionaire tax cut.? He lied and said it would do less for him the middle class taxpayers. And the conservative guppies bought it. It takes a truly great flim flam man to bamboozle a sizable portion to believe that even after over 13000 lies of his have been documented. What is it with conservatives any way Are they too embarrassed to admit to the truth. Why do they prefer the rants and ravings of a psychotic lunatic then the printed truth and video that sustains the truth.? It is hilarious to watch the conservatives who think they somehow have a moral superiority to the rest of society. Just because you name your self something (Christian. Decent American, Moral Majority, Defender of our Constitution) doesn't make you the same.

beelog

Trump donates his entire salary to charity. Tell me this, why do we only see liberal Democrats attacking people they disagree with? Why is it only liberal Democrats who destroy property, try to shout down conservative speakers, accost members of the other party when they are out with their families, why do Antifa members feel they have to hide their faces? The difference is "Class". Republicans have it, Democrats do not!

aj0201

Not charity. Why do you keep lying?

jdw64485

Okay, you say it's not charity. So he donates it to back to Government departments. What's so wrong with that. It takes a little tax burden off the working tax payers.

aj0201

No it doesn’t. It changes nothing about the budgets of those departments. And he has been making far more than his salary by vacationing at his own hotels. The donation of $400,000 to the government pales in comparison as charging the government millions to stay at his hotels.

jdw64485

So, aj are you saying he should stay at the motel 6 after all they leave a light on. And eat at the local Denny's.

James Bond1

He doesn't "vacation" at his Hotels...……...he works his tail off...…..often 20 hour days. Show me how you came with "millions" One of those millions would provide rooms about 12,500 nights. Lets figure out how many nights are available for the relatively few government employees travel from the White House. Yeh…...12,500 nights.

beelog

The point is, he does not personally take his salary. Does that sound like "greed"?

aj0201

Yes bee, when the trade off is that his companies charge the US taxpayer to have his entourage and Secret Service detail stay in his hotels. You’ve been duped.

aj0201

The General Accounting Office says that each of Trumps vacations costs about $3.4 million. Some of that is $$ that would be spent no matter where he stays but the cost of lodging and food, when he stays at a Trump property, enhances his business.

And nobody is saying he should stay at Motel6, but he could at least stay in other places from time to time to try to at least appear to avoid impropriety.

mywagginisdraggin

conservative guppies...13,000 lies....yeah we know THIS new poster name..
